Copperweld's A270 stainless steel sanitary tubing is produced for use in the juice, dairy and food, pharmaceutical and semiconductor industries that have special surface requirements. Copperweld's century-long tube making skills are now being applied to the manufacture of LaserTube stainless steel tubing. This product is being produced at a new, state-of-the-art plant in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Their Elizabethtown facility is the highest quality stainless tubular production operation in North America. It features leading-edge technology including laser welding, a method that provides increased quality over conventional TIG welding.
