Rotork
Rack & Pinion Actuators
Rack and Pinion Actuators are designed to operate ball, butterfly, plug and other valves, which require a quarter-turn movement for either on/off or throttling service. Offering the most economical solution when valve torque requirements are more or less constant throughout the stroke. They are available in three main types - the RP, RH Series; and R Range.Special Applications
Our philosophy at Rotork Fluid System, is not to simply sell valve actuators, but to provide solutions to the particular valve automation requirements faced by our customers. With over 40 years experience in meeting the most demanding valve automation challenges, Rotork Fluid System can provide a solution to the unique requirements of your application. Below are listed some of the most common special requirements brought to us by our customers.Linear Actuators
Rotork linear actuators offer the advantages of compact size, high performance and a simple but highly reliable design, and are ideal for operating on/off and control functions of both globe and wedge gate valves. Both LP Series (pneumatic actuators) and LH Series (hydraulic actuators) are available.Electro-Hydraulic Actuators
The Rotork Fluid System EH Range of self-contained, electro-hydraulic actuators include an integrated control module; a hydraulic manifold; and a power unit consisting of a motor, hydraulic pump and reservoir. EH actuators are available in double-acting or spring-return, fail-safe configurations for both quarter-turn and linear applications. They can be configured to mount in any position, including remote mounting of the control module. Torque requirements up to 600,000 Nm (5.3 million in lbs) and thrusts up to 5,500,000 N (1,236,500 lbs) can be accommodated. All electronics are protected in a watertight or explosion-proof enclosure.Serial Communications
A serial communication network using 2, 3 or 4 wires to the actuator can greatly reduce the installed cost of each actuator and provide extensive actuator and valve condition information to the maintenance staff and control room operators.
